GRUB BUSTERS: THE BASICS
Nematodes are the definitive organic and pesticide free answer to grub problems you may have in your lawn. They are a naturally occurring, earth friendly microscopic worm, which safely attack root eating grubs in the larval stage.

Safe, easy to apply (using a miracle-gro or other hose-end sprayer) and effective, why choose a chemical? Not only do nematodes voraciously seek out grubs, they also effectively rid your lawn of many other common insect pests (i.e. black vine weevils, Japanese beetles, fleas, cutworms and more). Nematodes can also be applied to other areas in your yard, such as gardens, in your house plants and under trees.
About the Grub Busters Nematode Species:Steinernema carpocapsae- This specie of nematodes is an ambusher, and is most effective against highly mobile surface insects like webworms, cutworms, and army worms.Heterorhabditis bacteriophora- This nematode is a cruiser which seek out weevil and beetle larvae.
Remember these rules when applying nematodes: They should be applied late in the day or on when it is cool and overcast because exposure to ultraviolet light will kill nematodes. We recommend planning your application when rain is forecast. By applying them when the soil is moist, Grub Busters nematodes will be washed into the soil where they can survive and do their work!
