What is the difference between 100% organic and organic-based fertilizers? A. Many products are marketed as organic, but are not 100% organic. In Canada, a fertilizer can be sold as "Organic Based with as little as 15% organic content. Q. When should TurfMaize be used? A. It can be used in the Spring and Fall. The general rule of thumb is to apply TurfMaize in the Spring before the Forsythia blooms. TurfMaize can be applied from the middle of April to mid May for your spring fertilizer needs.
